Our focus for Connect is really just as it sounds…
Providing a way for people to interact with each other within the church environment which encompasses a vast array of people.
To name a few particular groups this could relate to:
- New or young Christians who don’t have any previous experience of church;
- New individuals, couples or families joining the church who would like to meet people to help them feel part of church life;
- Individuals who have been attending Hope for many months or even years but haven’t yet found or committed themselves to a Life Group;
- Those who have not yet made a faith commitment, but would value friendship and encouragement to become engaged in the church life.
Life as a Christian is more than just Sundays. We firstly seek to equip the whole church to live out their faith in the real world at their places of work, in their communities and in their relationships.
We are not a “come and see” church but very much a “go and demonstrate the Kingdom of God” in every aspect of society that we touch.
Our involvement with Hub Community Project enables us to show the love of Christ in meaningful, practical ways and to partnership with others in the provision of much needed resources.
We seek to be sensitive to the leadings of the Holy Spirit and God’s prophetic voice and live out an adventure of faith in following him.
Life Groups
These are small groups of people (typically 10-12) who meet in one another’s homes to pray; read the bible together and help each other become all that God wants them to be.
Groups meet around and in all our locations in both weekday evenings and in the daytime. If you would like to join one, please get in touch with the church office.
